Export Finance

The bank provides need-based export finance both at pre-shipment and post shipment, to the exporters at competitive rates of interest. Export finance in foreign currency is also being provided to large corporate clients. For this purpose there are 55 authorised branches spread all over India which are manned with trained personnel as also equipped with the latest communication tools like Fax/ ISD/ SWIFT etc. In addition there are two fully computerised Dealing Rooms at Kolkata and Mumbai which provide competitive exchange rates to the exporters. We have a vast network of correspondents all over the world and maintain foreign currency (Nostro) accounts in 10 currencies viz. USD, GBP, EURO, JPY, SGD, DKK, SEK, CAD, AUD and SWF with prime banks in various time zones like New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore etc. Bank also provides non-fund based services for imports by way of opening of import Letters of Credit, guarantees etc. We also have Lines of Credit (Buyers' Credit/ Suppliers' Credit) with reputed International Financial Institutions.
