Allahabad Bank revised today Interest Rates on FCNR Deposits and NRE Deposits

Allahabad Bank has revised the interest rates on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR) Deposits and Non Resident (External) Rupee Term Deposits (NRE) with effect from 2nd May,2005.

The revised rates for US Dollar are 3.48 percent (earlier 3.58 percent) for one year to less than two years, 3.73 percent (earlier 4.01 percent) for two years to less than three years and 3.88 percent (earlier 4.23 percent) for three years. In case of GB Pound deposits, the revised rates are 4.74 percent (4.87 percent) 4.65 percent (earlier 4.82 percent) and 4.64 percent (4.81 percent) for respective maturities. For EURO Deposits, the Bank has fixed interest rates at 1.99 percent (2.14 percent), 2.18 percent (2.42 percent) and 2.38 percent (2.63 percent).

The revised rates for NRE Term Deposits are 4.20 percent (earlier 4.30 percent) for one year to less than two years, 4.50 percent (4.80 percent) for two years to less than three years and 4.60 percent (5.00 percent) for three years.
