Allahabad Bank Instals 10 More ATMs in Delhi

Allahabad Bank, a leading nationalized bank of the country, has gone a step further in extending any time banking service to its customers by opening 10 more ATMs in and around the metropolis of Delhi today. The initiative is a unique New Year gift from the oldest bank of the country for the benefit of the customers. These are in addition to the 9 ATMs already in operation in Delhi. Thus, from today, the ATMs in service in Delhi has gone up from nine to nineteen.

Shri O.N. Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank, has inaugurated the ATM outlet at Lajpat Nagar today at 3 PM.

The New ATMs have been installed on 6.1.2006 are at 1. PVR Road (Saket),2. Central Market (Lajpatnagar), 3. Prashant Vihar (Rohini),4. Vikas Marg (Preet Vihar), 5.Sector 18 (Noida), 6. Green Park Extn, 7.Tilak Nagar, 8. Khyber Pass (Timarpur), 9. Mayur Vihar Phase I and 10. Sushant Lok-1(Gurgaon).

Apart from the above new sites, the following ATMs are already in service in Delhi :

1. Parliament Street 2. Daryaganj, 3. Baroda House 4. Vasundhara (Ghaziabad), 5. Navyug Market (Ghaziabad), 6. Amar Colony (Lajpatnagar) 7. Chittaranjan Park 8. Anand Lok and 9. Gurgaon

All the above ATMs are centrally connected to ATM Switch Centre enabling connectivity on National Financial Switch (NFS) having 17 member banks with over 5000 ATMs in India and VISA network.

The Bank has thus taken yet another step forward towards providing excellent and innovative banking service twenty four hours and seven days through all time open ATMs. In business front also, the Bank achieved phenomenal growth of 24.45% as on 30.9.2005 when compared to the same period last year. Deposit growth was 21.38% while credit growth 30.17% during the same period.

In tune with the business development, the Bank has been laying emphasis on technological upgradation, product development, social commitment and more customer convenience. The opening of these 10 ATMs is a part of the programme of installing more than 100 ATMs shortly. The Bank is also going to bring 900 branches under Centralized Banking Solutions(CBS) network and the pilot project in this regard is going to be implemented shortly. The Bank is advancing fast in the road of its avowed commitments towards business development, technological upgradation and hassle free easy customer service.
