Shri K. K. Agarwal and Shri J. P. Dua join as the new
Executive Directors of Allahabad Bank
Shri K.K. Agarwal and Shri J.P. Dua have
assumed charge of Executive Directors of Allahabad Bank with effect
from 7th November, 2007. It is for the first time the Bank is
having two Executive Directors. Before that, Shri S.K. Goel was the
Executive Director of the Bank who has since taken over as the CMD
in another Bank. Before taking over this assignment, Shri Agarwal
and Shri Dua were the General Managers of Bank of Baroda and
Oriental Bank of Commerce respectively.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountant of India and a Graduate in Law, Shri Agarwal who had also
done his CAIIB, is having wide range of working experience in
various fields of banking activities which include International
Banking and Treasury Operations. A seasoned banker, Shri Agarwal
had international experience of working in Fiji for over 4 years. He
headed the International Operations Wing of Bank of Baroda till he
took over as Executive Director of Allahabad Bank.
Shri Dua is a post graduate in Economics and a
graduate in Law. Shri Dua is a complete banker and is exposed to
almost all the functions of banking industry including
International Banking, Inspection & Control besides Corporate
Credit, a department he headed in OBC until he joined
Allahabad Bank. He had specialized training in Credit
Administration, Human Resources Management. His initiatives include
formation of New Business Groups, Centralized Processing Cell,
Retail Credit hubs etc. Shri Dua also attended a number of
international trainings like SIBOS Programme in Hong Kong,
International Banking Programme in Los Angeles/San Fransisco and
Credit Management Programme in New York.
