Allahabad Bank Revises Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) from 12.50% to 13.25%
No Change in interest on Home Loans upto Rs.10 lacs
To meet the rising cost of fund, Allahabad Bank, one
of the leading nationalized banks of the country, has revised its
Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) by 75 basis points from the present
rate of 12.50% to 13.25% with effect from 2nd April, 2007.
Due to the above change in the BPLR, the revised
interest rates are applicable on all existing and future working capital
and term loans, which are linked to BPLR. However, the increase in
Benchmark PLR will not be applicable to Home Loan limit up to Rs.10
lacs.
