Allahabad Bank offers One percent more Interest to Senior Citizens

Allahabad Bank will give one percent more interest on all Term Deposit Accounts to Senior Citizens with effect from 24th August 2005. It means that the Senior Citizens will henceforth get one percent more interest than the normal interest offered by the Bank in all Fixed Deposit (cumulative and non-cumulative) , Recurring Deposit and other Term Deposit Accounts.

By this way, Allahabad Bank pays its tribute to Senior Citizen customers of the Bank.. This will enable this segment of customers to earn more from Bank Deposits.

The Bank which has built up a business base of more than Rs.65,000 crore and a network of more than 2000 offices countrywide as on 30.6.2005 is always committed to social priorities and obligations. By paying one per cent more interest Allahabad Bank has made an effort in fulfillment of its social commitment to the senior citizens of the nation.
