Allahabad Bank gets best Bank Rolling Trophy (Public Sector)

ALLAHABAD BANK has secured the highest rating and has been declared the Winner of the Best Bank Rolling Trophy (Public Sector) for the year 2004-05 by the Banks’ Sports Board of Indian Banks’ Association.

The Best Bank Rolling Trophy (Public Sector) has been presented to Shri O.N. Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of Allahabad Bank today at the Annual General Meeting of Banks’ Sports Board/Indian Banks’ Association in Mumbai.

The Banks’ Sports Board, at the Annual General Meeting awards the Best Bank Rolling Trophy to the Public Sector Bank which is rated high in organizing and participating in All India Inter-Bank Tournaments, Regional Inter-Bank Tournaments, National Sports events and their representation on BSB/National Team for various National/International Championships.

In this connection, it may be mentioned that ALLAHABAD BANK was the Coordinating Bank in successfully organizing the 3rd Banks’ Olympiad from 3rd January to 8th January, 2005 in Kolkata.
