Shri Onkar Nath Singh, Executive Director, Bank of India has been appointed as the Chairman & Managing Director, Allahabad Bank.

Shri Singh assumed his office at Mumbai on December 4, 2003. Prior to this assignment, Shri Singh was Executive Director of Bank of India since September 25, 2000. He was General Manager, Bank of Baroda, in charge of New York operations.

Shri Singh is a B. Com(Hons.), LLB and also Chartered Accountant by qualification. He has nearly three decades of banking experience in various areas of operations including Credit Management, Audit & Inspection, International Banking etc.
