Notice inviting application for Prequalification of Architectural firms for addition /alterations in the existing building and construction of new building for hostel in Bank’s Staff College at , 1A, Ronaldshay Road Kolkata

The Bank invite pre-qualification application from reputed & experienced Architectural firms including PSUs and Government agencies for addition /alterations in the existing building and construction of new building for hostel in Bank’s Staff College at , 1A, Ronaldshay Road Kolkata. The firm should have experience in planning , designing, supervision of institutional Buildings/ Training Colleges and fulfilling following basic criteria.

Details of work :

Architectural consultancy services for planning, designing and supervision of addition /alterations work in the existing building and construction of new building in the available space as per prevailing bye laws of appropriate authority . The scope of work includes planning, designing, getting approvals from concerned authorities along with supervision of captioned work which includes General civil, plumbing, electrical, fire fighting etc. works. Reputed Firms including PSUs and Govt. Agencies who successfully executed similar types of works as stated above may apply for pre-qualification provided they satisfy the terms & conditions as stipulated hereunder.

1. Basic criteria for pre-qualification of Architectural Firms :

1. The firm should have Minimum ten years experience in similar types of works as stated above.

2. The firm should have successfully completed similar type of works as under as on 31.03.2008 for Government/PSUs/financial institutions/Banks, reputed corporate etc. during last seven years out of which one of the job should be in Kolkata or near by area.

1. Three similar works each costing not less than Rs 40 Lacs. OR
2. Two similar works each costing not less than 60 lacs. OR
3. One similar works costing not less than Rs 100 Lacs.

3.Intending firm must have qualified and experienced Technical personnel, Architects, Engineers both in civil , Structural ,Sanitary & plumbing and electrical engineering.

2. The interested Firms may apply in the prescribed format (as per Annexure I)

a) Bank’s Head Office, Premises Department at 2, Netaji Subhas Road , Kolkata 700 001 during working hours (from 10 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday)

The prescribed format duly filled in with all necessary particulars as stated in the prescribed format along with attested copies of certificates / credentials regarding jobs undertaken at various organisations should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribing “Prequalification of Architectural Firms for addition /alterations  in the existing building and construction of new building for hostel in  Bank’s Staff College at , 1A, Ronaldshay Road Kolkata” at the following address on or before 19.05.2008, 1500 Hrs. Applications will be opened on next working day at 15.00 Hrs

1. Pre-qualification will be made based on particulars and documents furnished by the applicant as required and satisfactory verification carried out by the Bank.  Incomplete information in the application will lead to summarily rejection.  If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage, they shall be liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up the work.  Allahabad Bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently.
   
2. Selection of firms will be restricted to those considered eligible from the applicants (pre-qualified)and no further press notice in this regard will be issued.  Only pre qualified firms will be called for presentation before the selection committee.
   
3. For any other clarification, intending agencies may contact at the above mentioned address before the last date of submission during working hours as mentioned above.
   
4. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications with out assigning any reasons whatsoever
