Recruitment of Peon-Cum-Driver in Allahabad Bank for vacancy at Jalandhar,
Civil Lines Branch

Applications in a prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Peon-Cum-Driver at Jalandhar, Civil Lines Branch ( Punjab)

1. Educational Qualification (as on 30/04/2008)

   A pass in VIII (Eight) standard or its equivalent but the candidate should not have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent.
     

2. Age (as on 30/04/2008)

   Minimum 21 years & maximum 26 years.
   Plus number of years of experience relevant to the post subject to a maximum of upper age limit of-
   For General Category: 40 years
   For OBC Category : 43 years
   For SC/ST Category : 45 years
   For Ex-Serviceman the relaxation in upper age limit will be minimum 3 years plus actual period of service in Defence subject to a maximum of 45 years. The dependents of those Ex-Serviceman killed/disable in action are not entitled to any relaxation in upper age limit.
     

3. Experience (as on 30-04-2008)

   Must have driven a light and/or heavy vehicle at least for three Year. Proficiency in driving light & heavy vehicles is essential and it is also desirable that the candidates are conversant with the vehicle equipment.
     

4. Other Criteria

   1. · The candidates applying for the post of Peon-Cum-Driver must possess a valid driving license for both light & heavy vehicle from the appropriate authorities. The license should be current and should not bear any adverse remarks.

   2. · The candidates must have valid Employment Exchange Registration card of the Employment Exchange of the District in Jalandhar where such candidates are permanently domiciled.

   3. Women Candidates are not eligible
       

5. SCALE OF PAY AND OTHER:

   Rs.4060/- to Rs.7560/-(20 years) plus D.A. & other allowances as per 8th Bipartite Settlement in vogue in Banking Industry for subordinate staff cadre.
     

6. Number of vacancy: 1(one)
